JLP Horse Lessons is more than just a lesson program. JLP offers summer camps and parent consultations for horse ownership or lease program with schooling horses.

Lessons are an hour each that consist of learning not only to ride but the care of a horse as well. Lessons are scheduled on a weekly basis with the instructor for each individual.

Summer Camps are offered on a first come first serve basis each summer. There are a limited number of openings for each session and normally fill-up quickly. Each camper will receive horseback riding instruction, fun & games, horse education and, of course, water fun!

Parent consultation to assist in learning about horse ownership or lease program with lesson horses. As your child progresses in his/her love of horseback riding, when is the right time to buy or lease a horse. I am here to assist with this process.
About me
My name is Jilliann Plunkett and I am 19 years old. I have been riding horses since I was 7 years old. I took lessons for several years myself from two wonderfully trained instructors, as I wanted to learn the correct form of riding and care of horses.
I trained and rode multiple disciplines: English, Ranch, Western and Speed Events such as barrels and poles. I am currently attending Murray State University in Murray, KY and am a member of the rodeo team where I participate in barrel racing.
I am majoring in Ag Education as I desire to continue my love of teaching especially in an area that I love. I love kids and want to assist others in fulfilling their love of horses, as I was given the opportunity by others, when I could not afford a horse.
